Day 4 of the Bible in a Year - My Thoughts 01/04/2010
![]() Day 4 down, 361 to go. Today’s scriptures were Genesis 8:1 – 10:32; Matthew 4:12-25; Psalms 4:1-8; and Proverbs 1:20-23. Here are my thoughts for the day. WHO WANTS TO BE A JOYLLIONAIRE? Psalm 4:7 – God gives joy money cannot buy. Carnal pleasure is an endless pursuit. Jesus. That's my final the answer. I’M A FOOL AND I LIKE IT! Proverbs 1:20-23 – God seeks to give wisdom to the fool, but the fool relishes in his foolishness, refusing wisdom and correction. How many people today continue to relish in their sin and foolishness, embracing it, holding it like a lover? MAD MAX MEETS THE PASSION MEETS CLASH OF THE TITANS The account in Genesis chapter 8 of the three sons of Noah, going off into the ancient new world after the flood to reboot civilization, and all the different tribes, cultures, languages and empires that resulted sounds like an awesome epic movie. Someone needs to make it. Maybe we will. Think Mad Max meets the Passion meets Clash of the Titans…or something like that. 1 Comment | Robert Taylor I've been with SLW since late 1999, and I've been through my spiritual ups and downs. Come see. On this blog I'll just share my thoughts on some issues from time to time, trying not to ramble too much and to make it worth your read all at the same time. Wish me luck.
