1. THE ORIGINAL DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES I’ve seen Desperate Housewives. By entertainment standards, it is of course a “good” show, but the basis of the entire series is nothing new. In fact this stuff was going on in ancient times. However, it wasn’t as funny, there wasn’t any happy or even palatable endings, and there was a whole lot more truth in the ancient account.
