Day 19 of the Bible in a Year - My Thoughts 01/19/2010
![]() 19 days down, 346 to go. Today’s scriptures for my Read the Bible in a Year plan are Genesis 39:1 – 41:16; Matthew 12:46 – 13:23; Psalms 17:1-15; Proverbs 3:33-35. Here are my thoughts on today’s readings. Hope you find them interesting…or at least tolerable. 1. CHECK TO SEE IF YOU ARE RELATED TO JESUS 2. NO ATHEISTS IN FOXHOLES, BUT THERE ARE POETS 3. YOUR HEART GETS A GRADE, BUT NOT A, B, C, D OR F 4. JOSEPH TURNS THE TIDE – REFUSING SEXUAL SIN & GIVING GOD HIS DUE 1. CHECK TO SEE IF YOU ARE RELATED TO JESUS Some people are really into genealogy. They research their family tree back generations, back to different countries even. Now I’m not sure what’s the farthest back anyone has traced their ancestry. I’m sure it could be looked up, but aside from the fictional Di Vinci Code account, I wonder if anyone has gone back 2,000 years to find they’re actually related to Jesus Christ.
