Day 20 of the Bible in a Year 01/20/2010
![]() 20 days down, 345 to go. Today’s scriptures for my Read the Bible in a Year plan are Genesis 41:17 – 42:16; Matthew 13:24-46; Psalms 18:1-15; Proverbs 4:1-6. Here are my thoughts on today’s readings. Hope you find them interesting…or at least tolerable. 1. WHY DO GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO BAD PEOPLE? 2. IF IT’S WORTH IT, YOU’LL PAY FOR IT: Is God worth it? 3. FROM SLAVE TO 2ND IN COMMAND OF THE KINGDOM: Not even Donald Trump would fire this guy 4. FIERCE IMAGERY OF GOD: Nature as a weapon…Yikes! 1. WHY DO GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO BAD PEOPLE? Why do bad things happen to good people? It’s an age old question that has eluded an answer for so many for so long. It’s a beef that many people have taken up with God, or a question that has caused many to simply not believe in God. Well this post is not about that question.
