In 1995, Terrance Levi became a Christian and the Lord delivered him from a life of organized crime. Levi and his wife Lorie immediately began doing outreaches on the north side of Houston, TX, such as carshows, concerts, block parties, basketball tournaments, motorcycle jumping, and anything else that would draw a crowd to preach to.

They also began leading a Friday night service called “Friday Nite Live” in 1995 that was specifically designed tor reach the inner city and Hip Hop audience. These services featured live Christian rap and R&B performances, skits, a live DJ, strobe lights, a 20-inch disco ball and low rider bikes. However the most important part of the service was Levi’s ministry, a refreshing presentation of the gospel and bilbical principles that combined urban humor and “ghetto” analogies that the audience could relate to.

Since 1999, we have been conducting monthly and twice a month chapel services “bootcamps”, which are correctional facilities for young people.

Through our face-to-face ministry and outreach events over the years, we have seen over 20,000 salvations and rededications to the Lord.

In 2007, we took our ministry overseas, preaching to thousands in Sao Paulo, Brazil. We now have a branch of our ministry in the country of Brazil.

In order to reach more people than they could at their outreaches alone, Levi and his ministry team began producing urban evangelistic movies, television programming and music that promotes the gospel of Jesus Christ and a Christian worldview, but also has the entertainment value to be embraced by a secular urban audience.

As of 2008 our ministry team has produced 4 movies, 4 music Cd’s, and 1 television program.

In 2006, Levi and his team launched Street Life Worldwide Outreach Center, a church specifically designed to minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the urban community and Hip Hop culture. The church has weekly services, outreach activities and a nine month long discipleship program.
